I haven't really done a lot in the past few days. I've taken a few boxes over. This morning Tony took a big load over. I tried cleaning up the vent covers, but they were really grimy. I managed to make them 'better'. Two of them got thrown out a long time ago because they were that bad. I tried my best to clean them, though we're going to replace them.


The mattress is still funky. We're going to get a cover for it until we can buy. I also worked up a floor plan for the living and dining room. Unfortunately, I won't have money for new furniture for a year, at least. It's nice to dream.

Still Stinky

Well, after half a bottle or peroxide and a full bottle of rubbing alcohol, the mattress is less stinky. We're just going to have to get a new mattress ASAP, well as soon as we can afford it (ASAWCAI?).

The boxes are still boxes, but organized now. I went through a few boxes of odd and ends last night and started the great 'moving purge'. Sadly, most of the big furniture is still at Tony's. And, even sadder, with the semester ending and finals around the corner, we probably won't get time to move it for another two weeks *grumps*. If we get a phone and the mattress de-funked, I'll be moving in without it. Who needs a TV if I have the internet?

I've been trying to figure out a decent floor plan this week for the living/dining room. We have a lot of stuff and little space. The huge ferret cage has been the biggest obstacle. I think I finally may have it, and I'm going to sketch it out using graph paper tonight (yeah, I'm anal and a nerd).
