The first goal of the week has been accomplished. We got the living room ceiling de-nailed tonight. The bad news (seems like we get a lot of it) is that it looks like at least two of the cross beams will need to be replaced. They are pretty rotted. Not, we're-worried-about-the-beams-falling-on-our-head rotten, but they should be replaced while everything is down.
While we were working Tony leaned against the retaining wall in the living room and it shook a lot. The thing is pretty loose. One good whack with a sledge hammer should take it down. All the better for us. I guess that leaves this weekend to get the cabinets out and the map drawn. Shouldn't be too hard.
